The Package Travel & Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations

The Package Travel & Linked Travel Arrangement Regulations 2018 came into effect in the UK on 1 July 2018. The legislation imposed certain responsibilities on all operators of inclusive package holidays and linked arrangements.

One of the most onerous responsibilities is the need to provide security for passengers holiday payments prior to and up to the completion of the package holiday or linked travel arrangements in the event of the financial failure of the organiser.

International Passenger Protection Limited (IPP) were the first company to supply the insurance solution to the original European Directive and UK Regulation back in the early 90's. IPP have negotiated an exclusive contract with major international insurers, together with reinsurers, whose combined assets exceed 300 billion, to provide cover to comply not only the UK regulations but the European Directive (Directive (EU) 2015/2302). We believe our program will meet all of your requirements at a reasonable cost and with the minimum of administration.
